Curv-Rite Aluminum Edging can be used in a variety of applications from separating lawns from bed areas or as a bed divider separating mulch from flower beds. It can also be used in conjunction with stone to be used as pathway edging or as a maintenance edging around the perimeter of a building.
Curv-Rite aluminum edging is extremely flexible enabling Landscape Architects and Landscape Designers the freedom to create any type of curvilinear design with the confidence that the lawn edging they specify will meet their demands. The easier the lawn edging is to install, typically means the better installation. The better the installation typically means that the edging will perform better over time.
2000 & 3000 Series Landscape Edging
The 2000 Series is the perfect product for the DIY or landscape professional looking for a great product that is easy to install, will last a lifetime and is price conscience. The largest difference between the 2000 Series and the 3000 Series is the connection and the staking system. The 2000 Series connects at the top of the profile while the 3000 Series connects at the top and bottom of the profile. The 2000 Series is also more flexible than the 3000 Series allowing for extremely intricate curves. The 2000 Series can be flexed into a 20" radius while the tightest radius for the 3000 Series is 24".
3500 Series Rigid Maintenance Strip
Curv-Rite's 3500 Series Maintenance Strip is the ideal product to be used in straight run applications such as building maintenance strips to restrain stone or bark mulch. The 3500 Series is also an excellent choice for rectangular bed designs where straight runs are critical design elements. Another application is to use the 3500 Series to retain (DG) decomposed granite or other aggregate along pedestrian walkways, pathways and/or light vehicular access ways.
Curv-Rite Aluminum Paver Restraint Products:
Curv-Rite manufactures two different product lines to retain brick pavers and natural stone.
Stable Edge is the ideal product for concrete and clay pavers between the sizes of 1 1/2" thick and 2 1/2" thick. Stable Edge is easy to install and will last a lifetime.
4000 Series Low Profile Restraint is the ideal product for restraining pavers and natural stone under 2".
The 4000 Series also has taller profiles that are available for larger pavers and thicker natural stone that need a stronger and taller product. The 4000 Series has a thicker vertical wall than the standard Stable Edge, a larger stabilization flange, and is available in 6 different heights from 1.5" all the way up to a 4" tall edge restraint.
Stable Edge
Curv-Rite's Stable Edge is the ideal product for concrete and clay pavers between the sizes of 1 1/2" thick and 2 1/2" thick. Stable Edge is easy to install and will last a lifetime.
4000 Series
Curv-Rite's 4000 Series Heavy Duty "L" Restraint is the ideal product for pavers and natural stone under 2" or greater than 3 1/2" thick. The 4000 Series has a thicker vertical wall than the standard Stable Edge and a larger stabilization flange.
